Day 1: Arrive to Marrakech

You will be picked up by your English-speaking driver from Marrakech airport to your Riad in the Medina

Day 2 : Visit Marrakech with a local guide

After breakfast, you will start with the visit of the majorelle gadren then you will meet a local guide around 11:30 am to take you to explore the sites of Marrakech. First, you will start with the place of Dejmaa El Fna then go to Bahia palace and also visit the souk .This walk will take like 3 hours in total .And sometime around 16:30 you will to experince the moroccan hamam .

Day 3: day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech

Departure at 8 a.m. we will drive for about 170 km. There are vast landscapes during the trip, with a few villages, dromedaries, sheep and goats’ herds grazing in peace the few dry and seldom herbs.The vegetation then changes to argan trees which only grow in the wild and on which the goats climb to eat berries. If you wish, it is possible to stop for argan oil tasting in a small cooperative totally run by women, where the argan oil is extracted. This oil is very famous for its uses in cooking and especially in cosmetics.

A few km further away, there is a panoramic view on Essaouira , a small blue and white town which reminds us of Breton port towns. Once you arrive in the port, you will meet a guide there then start the visit of Essaouira . You can have a stroll on the quays which are full of life, where you can watch fishermen unloading their catch of the day, fishing boats coming back to the port and all the activities linked with the work of fishermen. Lunch can be taken in a restaurant where it is possible to choose all the seafood or fish you want to eat. The visit to the town is pleasant and varied : the ramparts, the Medina which is the place where you will see a number of local artists and lots of craft shops, a lot of them exhibiting craft objects made of thuya wood. Marquetry remains the speciality of Essaouira . If you feel like it, you can spend part of your day at the beach. Return to Marrakech at 6 or 7 p.m

Day 4 : Marrakech to the Dades valley via The High Atlas Mountain , Ourzazate and skoura .

You will start the trip today around 8:00 Am and you will travel over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass(2260m) while enjoying superb views of the mountains and of the Berber Villages on the way you will pass by the Telouet Kasbah and see if from outside ( you will not go in as the earthqauke damage it and its not safe to go in ) . Stop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Benhaddou.(This famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films). You will visit a berber family in the Kasbah .After the visit of the kasbah you will drive through Ouarzazate and continue towards the Valley of Roses and the Dades valley, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs and the Dades Gorges and we stay night at a hotel.

Day 5: Dades valley to the Sahara desert via Todgha Gorge and Erfoud

After breakfast in your hotel, you will drive to the sahara .you will enjoy seeing the kasbah of Ait arbi ,built at the foot of volcanic rocks, and Tamnalt ,known as the ‘valley of human bodies’ ,where rocks on one of the cliff faces have been eroded into what looks like the soles of human feet.and the locals call it the ‘monkey feet’.and after that you will go back till the administrative centre of Boumalne –du –Dades.then drive to the Todra Gorges via the Oasis of Todra valley to see the dense and extensive palm grove and go up to the Gorges .you will enjoy looking to the most spectacular section of the gorges ,where for a distance of 110 yards the narrow corridor between the sheer,towering walls of rock (985 feet high) is only 65 feet wide .it’s as well the best place for rock climbers.and after that you will drive back the valley and later on Tinjdad, stop for lunch . Then continue the trip to the desert via Erfoud and Rissani. Just after you get the desert, you will relax for a while then ride the camels to the middle of the desert for the night. Sleep in an equipped Berber camp. Before you do the camel ride , you will go to the village of Khamilia to see the Gnawa music .

Day 6: Sahara desert to Fes via Midelt , And Ifrane

In the morning after you see the sunrise in the camp ,you will camel back to the hotel for breakfast and shower.and then travel to Fes.you will drive through the Ziz valley.and stop for a nice view to the vast oais of Ziz .you will drive as well through the Ziz gorges ,which are sliced through the imposing rock faces that presage the rise of the high atlas in the west,are an indication of the former power of the Ziz.then through Hammat moulay ali cherif ,Rich,then Midelt.this town is bulit at the foot of the Jebel Ayachi,whose summit (12,260feet) is covered in snow for a large part of the year.lunch in restaurant.after lunch you will drive through the middle atlas mountain and stop in cedar forest to see the a kind of monkeys called ‘the Barbery apes’ then to the swiss style Moroccan city of Ifrane.from here Fes is just 60 KM and around 6 p.m.

Day 7 : Fes tour guide with a local guide

At 9:30 a.m. you will meet a local guide at the hotel and start to explore the oldest of Morocco‘s imperial cities. Fes is an important religious, intellectual and cultural centre .It is also renowned for its traditional crafts, and because of the particularly high reputation of its university it is known by many as the ‘Athens of Africa’. You will start with the royal palace with its ‘tightly closed doors, eggshell façade and pine-green Saracen tiles then the Mellah (Jewish quarter), the bleu gate and after that you will go to the Fes El Bali (the old medina).you will start with the Andlous Quarter to see the Andalous Mosque which was built in the 9 th century then the Kairouyiene Mosque which was built in 857 . And as you walk through the tiny streets on the medina you will see a lot of shops and workshops of merchants and craftsmen are grouped according to specialty. you will visit also the Merinid Medersa ( Bou Inania Medersa) which is also a mosque .Afterwards you will go to the tanneries to see where leather like jackets ,bags are made also to see the process by which animal skins are rendered supple and rot-proff. Lunch in a local restaurant somewhere in the Medina . And after lunch, you will meet the driver somewhere outside the medina to drive around the medina to see the stunning panoramic views of the medina from uphill. And at the end you will go to see the pottery of Fes, tin-glazed earthenware decorated with predominantly cobalt-bleu designs.

Day 8 : Fes to Chefchaouen Via Volubilis and Moulay driss Zerhoun

You will leave Fes around 9:00 am then drive straight to Chefchaouen ( the bleu city ) through the Rif mountains .First ,you will go to volubilis and visit the site with a local guide ?Then drive to the town of Moulay driss Zerhoun and after that drive Straight to Chefchouen .The drive time is around 4 hours and a half . You will have some stops on the way for the bathroom .And when you arrive Chefchaouen ,you will check into your Riad and the rest of the time will be free on your own

Day 9 : Chefchouen to Tanger

You will visit Chefchouen in the morning with a local guide then drive to Tanger around 2:00p

The drive from Chefchaouen to Tanger is around 2 hours and a half . You will always continue through the Rif mountains . When you reach Tanger you will visit the cap spartel , the hercules caves then drive to the hotel . And around 7:00pm you will go to have a Farewell dinner .

 

Day 10 : Transfer to Tanger airport

After breakfast you will visit the Kasbah , cape Spartel and the Hercules caves then transfer to the airport
