3 days trip from Fes to Marrakech

This 3-day from Fez to Marrakech desert tour, Morocco, takes you through the Middle Atlas, Sahara Desert, Todra Gorge, Ouarzazate, and Ait ben Haddou, and ends in Marrakech. The first day of the tour begins with a pickup from your Fez accommodation, a drive through the Middle Atlas, and a stop at Ifrane and the Cedar Forest in Azrou. You will then go to Merzouga and spend the night in a Berber tent. On the second day, you will travel from Merzouga to The Dades valley via, Todra Gorge. The last day of the tour is spent visiting the rose valley , Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

Day 1 : Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane , Midelt , Errachidia and Erfoud

Your journey will begin by picking you up from your accommodation in Fez at 8:00. The ride will take you through the fascination of the Middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a winter ski resort in an un-Moroccan style built by the French and resemble a Swiss village. Then you will stop at the cedars forest in Azrou to enjoynature and feed the monkeys.

Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountainsand descend toward the Sahara Desert. Halfway, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks; then, we will continue towardsMerzouga on the road. We will stop in panoramic views to see the vast Palm Trees oasis.

We reach Merzouga in the afternoon, Depending on your arrival, to the traditionalKasbah on the foot of the dunes of erg-Chebbi. After rest and a mint tea, the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the erg-Chebbi, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel, and after 1 hour, you willreach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent.

Day 2: Merzouga to the Dades valley via Todgha Gorge

in Our second day of a 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech After breakfast in the middle of the desert and the amazing sunrise, your camel guide takes you and comes back to the same place where the driver will be waiting for you for a new beginning of the second day.

This day will be great, from the desert continue the way to Erfoud town is a small and it’s famous for stones ( fossils ) we visit big marble Stones Association, and the people of this town are Berber and Arabic. From here we take the way to other small villages, then we cross today’s valley through Tinghir a Berber village.

Tinghir is a charming town known for its magnificent palm groves and famous Todra caves, Tinghir is a town in eastern Morocco, in the Souss-Massa-Drâa region, located in the Todgha valley, at the end of the High Atlas and facing the Saghro mountain, and we will stop from time to time for some beautiful views and pictures. Form here directly to Boumaln dads .

The Common belief is that Boumalene is derived from Bou l’Male which means a place of business and trade, especially for cattle. On the other hand, the word Dades comes from the story of a nomad who came to Boumalne. we will visit the Boumaln Dades this gorge is not far from the place where we’ll spend the night, but we drive to explore and discover that great gorge of dads. After that, we come back to the hotel for Dinner and overnight in Boumalne Dades.

Day 3 : Dades valley to Marrakech through Kelaa Mgouna , Ourzazate , AitBen Haddou Kasabah and the High Atlas Mountains

On our last day of the tour from Fes, we drive to the valley of the rose which blooms in May. Taking some off-road inside the palm trees of Skoura, where the architecture of the Kasbahs is spreading within the shadow of the palms.Thencontinue to Ourzazate , the Moroccan holiwood . Stop to visit one of the cinema studios if you are intersted then go on to stop again in Ksar Ait Ben Haddou which is a UNESCO world heritage. After the visit, we will have lunch there before we take the road crossing the High Atlas mountain in Tizi N Tichka pass 2260m ,stop for bathroom from time to time and for photos of the stunning landscape .Arriving at Marrakech in the early evening.
